
I learned kegs are kind of hard to draw. And candles are fun to draw.
Books weren’t a big item to bring on ships in the 1600s, as far as I am aware, because they were hard to store. I think Darwin in the 1800s had to keep careful storage of his notebooks in wax cloth. I would like to imagine that next to some candle storage was a very small library of wax-cloth-wrapped books for the people who could read to read stories aloud to their compadres.
